Basic of Camera

Currently, there are several camera models that are popular in Malaysia. They are Nikon, Canon, SONY, Olympus, Pentax and Fujifilm. Samsung is one of top camera brand in Malaysia, but may be due to re-direction of their business, they left the camera segment. In terms of usability, flexibility and easiness, it is actually very subjective and depends on the individual. For me, i am prefering Canon rather than Nikon. The reason is X factor ( i dunno why i choose the Canon instead). SONY is a new brand in camera world and is pioneering the compact full-frame camera such as A7 model. It has a lot of features and sometimes made the high spec full-frame Canon and Nikon camera is shame. Seveal years ago,i was intending to jump ship from Canon to SONY but I changed my mind when I looked at the price of the SONY lenses. It is quite expensive and there is no alternative lenses to consider. Yes, you an use you older Canon or Nikon lens connected to SONY body by using an adapter, but the review from others showing that the focus is a bit slow and some have problem in focusing.

Nevertheless, it is not the camera body that is important in capturing a good photo. The first important part is the person behind the camera. He is the one who need to upgrade the skills of photography by attending courses or participating in competitions. The second important is the lens. Good lens will help you in obtaining quick focus, less distortion and less flare.
